This is really something,that we will all feel in this Country.
A Category 5 Hurricane aiming for a city that was built below sea level,with over a 1/2 million people trying to get the H*** out of there by the request of their own Mayor. 60-80% of the Homes will be destroyed when it's over,with it's effects reaching as far as Ohio later this week. This is the Big storm that New Orleans has regretted since it was created. The storm surge waves could be 30 feet high,with no place to go once beyond the levy,not to mention the possible loss of life. And the off Shore Oil rigs will most likely be damaged,adding an immediate increase in Gas prices of 30 cents more a gallon by Tuesday.This is also a Major Hub for Natural Gas in the Midwest,raising Heating costs higher by this coming Winter.

In overseas markets tonight oil went over $70 barrell!! That up $4 from Friday due to this storm.
I saw the lines of cars on the highways going North-dead stopped traffic. Wonder how many people had to leave their muscle cars behind??

We're here in west Mobile County at the Alabama/Mississippi Line. Not a good situation, I've lived here all my life and riden out many hurricanes, this one has me worried, God help us all.

I think right now those folks are much more concerned about getting their kids and their families out of there alive than what will happen to their 69 Z/28's... I hope the forcasters are as wrong as they usually are, and its not as bad as they are currently predicting. Its stuff like this that makes you realize just how unimportant material possessions really are.

They are using the Superdome as a shelter for people that have no way to get out. If there was ever a time for a miracle I think this is one of those times.
