Heres a scenario.
Car decent shape no motor no tranny 6k correct (nom) engine and access. 8k correct trans. and access. 1k paint and body 8k chrome and trim 3k interior 2k I'm already at 28k on this list, and there is way more that would have to be added ie:,suspension,brakes,fuel,electrical,weatherstrip ping,assembly labor... I know my carb cost me 600.00,a correct functioning diverter valve 440.00, torque convertor 450.00.. etc etc.
