I would like to see that buildsheet removed from the car for closer inspection. I have some that are in great condition without any tears or holes but they all have either been stained, yellowed, or some sort dirt has accumulated on them. The one I have for my 83 MCSS is not in that good of condition and it was under the rear seat. Other than this new piece of paper he has there is no proof that the car is a original SS. It has a 71 motor, a 72 Pontiac trans, and rocker panel moldings which were not part of the SS package after 1968. Does anyone have a buildsheet from a base Malibu from 1970-72? Curious to see what the option code is for the lower rocker panel moldings............RatPack..................

Nice codes Scott! Door frame molding, body side and possibly drip rail moldings on a non v/t car with the ZJ5 option? 733 custom buckets = nice combo,

I owned a 70 Chevelle SS396 back in 1979-had 2 buildsheets in the same place as this one. Even back then the sheet was yellowed! I took one before I sold the car for $550-still have one copy of the build sheet though! Bought it in 79 for $600 and drove it for a year and sold it for $550. 396 350 hp bench seat 4 speed with 3.31 12 bolt-all cowl stuff was there along with lots of rust.
