[ QUOTE ]

When I got the car it was triple black. Right now it's triple metal. Maybe I should just clear coat the thing and then there would be no questions about what condition the body's in. Maybe I could pass it off as a DeLoren.

Rick,

Just so you know, it's all light hearted joking. You asked for opinions and we voiced ours. Obviously, the final decision is totally up to you. (Although now I'm kinda leaning toward that Stainless Steel look! But then, someone would give you grief about it NOT being a CORRECT SHADE of Cortez Silver!)

Do what you like with it and forget about us clowns!

Even 4 out of 5 clowns prefer black.

Dennis

Thanks for the comment and no offence taken. I posted the question to get unvarnished opinions...and I have. Some a little more unvarnished than others. I may be a dope and a crazy Texan (thank god) but I'm also the proud owner of a Tri-green LS5. I can think of a lot worse positions to be in. Life is sweet.

Rick

Perhaps Andy Haas could chime in. He purchased a green/green LS-5 and changed the color of the car and the interior. Though it is not yet completed, he may be able to add some pros and cons to this conversation. He does check in occassionally.
