The engine suffix is HS under the altenator. I looked for a vin on the engine but did not find...

Is there any honest way to tell what transmission the car came with originally? There is a Factory hole abt the size of a silver dollar in the middle of the tunnel near the front on the floor board.

HS suffix is for a 350/255HP w/TH350 Trans. used in Camaro-Nova-Chevelle in 1969.
