Default Re: 1968 Z-28 what's it worth???? please help

Although many will disagree, I'am sticking by my origianl statement:.....Without the factory motor/tranns its no longer a 68 Z28.

Got my bullet proof vest on guys......shoot me!

[/ QUOTE ] won't shoot you, just disagree with that, lets say someone has a X33 69 car and it also has a 327 engine, you're statement means that this car isn't a Z28 anymore just a modified 69 Camaro or how about a legit copo car with a 454 instead of an original 427??? same difference.
In your defense I can relate to your feelings on people trying to pass fake cars as legitimate cars and rest assured this isn't the case at all. I felt like this was a good site to get an honest opinion on the car which is what I'm getting good or bad. What about all the cars with re-stamped engines??? Would you not rather see a car with an advertised 327 than someone claiming to have a "302" only to learn 3 years later it's not??? I'm assuming your car is a numbers car but what if----- it was stamped before you bought the car???
Either way I'm thick skinned so no biggie just enjoying the input
