Sam, nice meeting you.
Verne, sorry we missed you.
Steve, sorry I didn't get back in time from looking for Verne to see you off, hope you arrived home OK. How was the trip back?

Very crowded! Hours of the cruise are from 6-9pm, reportedly the first car there was a vette at 9:00am I was there at 3:15 and it was loaded with cars already. Nice night too, weather was perfect.

Steve's Hemi was a hit, it always had a crowd around it. Car Craft spent a good 45 min talking to Steve and taking pics. CC staff said the cruise would be in Jan or Dec issue, which comes out Nov or Dec.

Can't wait for Sam's pics

Kevin, I emailed you the 4 photos. The trip took about an hour and a half to get home. It took 10 minutes to get out of the parking lot and as soon as I got on I-195 they closed down a lane for construction and it crawled for 2 miles. Once I got through that it only took about 45 minutes to go the rest of the way.

About a mile from my house the Charger reminded me that it doesn't like to drive at night. It has had an electrical glitch for 35 years: the headlight doors slam shut, leaving you in total darkness! -Quite exciting if you're not expecting it! You have to immediately retoggle the headlight switch to open them back up while trying to stay on the road in pitch black darkness at 50 mph.

Great event. It reminded me of a Street Machine Nationals from back in the 70's, only without the annoying drunks!

Steve, Sounds like an exciting ride home! Here are the pics from Steve.

Myself, camara shy Steve's car, Bruces Z11 and Bruce Wife Z10. Jeff's black 67 is hiding next to the Z10.

Here is the backend shot. Man the Charger is long! Front end of charger is just beyond my Camaro and the backend is way back!

They built them that way so you could get a few more people on the car to push it due to all the break downs

Only kidding , that car was the nicest one there and thats saying something with the amount of cars there...
Steve and Kevin, great to finally meet you guys...Hey Kevin, can I have the Mule when your done with it?

Saw 3 69 Z/28's in Jackson, all three of them had a cross ram, I guess there not as rare as we think, Ill leave mine a single 4, (will run better anyway)...
Saw another highly detailed one, even had a blacked out tailpan Must of been one of those rare big block z's

Sam, you must have missed the ultra rare 327 Z/28. Had the 327 emblems right on the cowl hood, must have been a real one

I can put you on the list for the "mule" but hope you can wait long enough the way my projects have been going, it is going to be a long while.

Sam I missed meeting you. I was there from 5:15-8:15 and talked to Steve, Kevin, Bruce and Jeff. I think I left at the right time, it only took 1 light to get out and on 195. I also missed the construction work so I was at the bar in Trenton in less than 25 minutes!
