Small world indeed...I knew Chris who was mentioned in the writew-up in the late 70's He was always into Corvettes and I was running around in a dual quad 65 Riv and working the counter at the local auto parts storew...when auto parts stores were real.

Belair: I know what yer' saying. I put a new Q-jet on my Camaro last weekend. I needed a carb-to-manifold gasket and went over to NAPA thinking that they may not carry Q-jet gaskets anymore. I looked around and lo and behold, there's that old familiar Mr. Gasket package with a new Q-jet gasket! $3.95 plus tax. It was like being a kid again seeing Mr. Gasket stuff hanging on the pegboard at the auto parts place. That made my day.

As for this '67 Corvette, what a gorgeous car! x 100

Belair, thanks for featuring the car. What a treat to see it featured on this great site. I just returned from a long weekend of vintage racing at Road America and what a surprise.

Makes me kind of glad that my wife "suggested" I sell my vintage race car.
