I agree. I have used Intercity several times over the past 15 years. Never any problem, always on time. The trailer that picks your car up is the one that delivers it. The driver wears a white coverall suit so as not to scratch or dirty up your car when he gets in, etc. I had one claim back in 1990 when a stone must have fallen from the tire of an upper loaded car (which actually was one of my other cars) and chipped the edge of my trunk lid. They told me no need for an estimate, just get it fixed where you prefer and send them the bill. I did and they paid it the same day they received it. Total professionals. I would use them again. (if I dont sell my Z11 soon, I will use them to send it to Barrett Jackson next January)

www.movinmusclecars.com

Probably not the cheapest but why cut corners with some of these cars?

Fills out full inspection report on the car when picked up.....calls often during the process to let you know where he's at......knows these cars as he is a collector himself....and one car at a time. My experience has been good anyway....no surprises or stress related injuries

Hey, I tried to tell him on July 8th!!
"Don't get your panties in a a wad; I'm gettin' there as quick as I can. The damned thing doesn't have any tags on it so I'm using all the country, gravel and dirt roads I can find to get to I-O-A!
If you lived in a REAL state I would have been there already!
(BTW, she developed a little front end vibration comin' thru Vegas but I pulled into a bicycle shop and they cut a few broken spokes out of the wheels. She's better now. "

I'm in I O A now but it's so damned hot she keeps spewing coolant all over the windshield. Then the dust from these gravel roads gets on the moisture...... this damned thing must weigh about 12,000 pounds by now!
Spent the nite at JD's shop in Ankeny and we'll be leavin' Altoona in a bit. (Cleaned out about twelve days worth of soda cups and sandwich wrappers, etc. Flies were gettin' REAL bad!) Have a waitin' for me; I'm on my way!

Now there are four fours of communication; telephone.....telegraph.....tell Annie.......tell D.C.

D.C. you promised me you wouldn't tell anyone about this. Now Kim will be double checking everything to see what we swapped out of it at the shop.

Okay........since D.C. opened his big mouth........again...

#1 - It does have tags..........just not current I-O-W-A tags

#2 - So we did get it a little dusty driving it around Polk County on the back roads but if you spend a good couple of hours with soap and water, it should clean right up.

My Deputy Sheriff buddies had fun chasing us around. Now they know how their Crown Vic Police Interceptors perform on gravel, dirt, blacktop, seal coat, concrete, corn fields, bean fields, pastures, back yards, parking lots, etc.

As everyone will notice, Annie Hartwegs dog was successful in getting all the corn stalks pulled out of the front end of the car. Seems pretty solid and I honestly don't think we damaged any suspension components when we jumped it over that drainage ditch.

And rest easy Kim, I DID MAKE Cumby clean all the candy bar wrappers and beer cans out of it before I took the pictures. Besides, I needed the 5 cent pop can deposits to help finance my trip to SCR8 this year. Cumby sure can put away a lot of beer for no bigger than he is.

Unforunately, Dennis couldn't keep his foot out of the firewall and I think ya might have a little bit of an oil leak now as evidenced by the oil on the car and also on the shop floor. Dennis said if it was really serious he might be able to come up with an original LS6 454 c.i.d. engine for you out of a junker he has at his home.

Sorry some of the pictures are a little dark but we didn't want to turn on the lights in the shop in case some of my Deputy buddies didn't understand that this was all just good clean fun ! ! ! !

All-in-all Kim, Dennis and I had a good time and we're really hoping that we can all still be friends.

Looks like you didn't have much luck with the urine stains on the carpet.
