Default Stewart Warner Tach Mounting

Does anyone know how the Tachometer is to be properly mounted for a Stewart Warner 970 Tach for a 69 Yenko Chevelle? I am pretty sure it goes overtop the steering column, but I am at a loss from there. I have the pedestal, and I am not sure if you just use that or is there another piece I am missing? Do I drill holes in the dash and use those holes in the pedestal? Any pictures of an examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to everyone.

Default Re: Stewart Warner Tach Mounting

I have two Yenko Chevelles to look at and they are both the same; tach is directly centered over stg column, pedestal is used in a sideways position, dash bezel is drilled along the top edge to mount the tach and those holes are in line with the mounting holes that attaches the bezel to the dash pad. I will try and send you a picture if need be.
