Rick, i applaud your efforts. I too am a Sunoco nut! I can remember filling up at the "wishing well" outside of Pentwater MI during my childhood trips there.
I have gathered as much as I can. I have NOS blend pump bathroom keys (men and womens), credit cards (70 and 73) receipts, credit card holders, handy oilers with blend pumps, the promo radio, a "sunoco air" sign, oil bottle etc. and of course my pump. Funny thing is, I don;t have a good shot of it. It was restored by a guy who bought 100 of them and does about one every 6 months with the best original parts from his stash. I hope one day to here your pump ding......I wish mine did (its gutless) Very very cool and well done on your part!! hey rick, hats off to you!
i just caught up on the last few pages of this thread.... great job on the inside... wouldn't it be nice if you could make the pump "ding" every hour? kind of like a grandfather clock.

WOW GREAT SUNOCO ITEMS!BRINGS BACK MEMORIES!WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL I WORKED AT A SUNOCO.STILL HAVE A COUPLE OF 260 SUNOCO IT'S A GAS DECALS.
