This may have some rust but it may be what you are looking for.

Not just why it looks new but why is it missing the "Z" next to the 28.19? His auction says some Norwood cars were missing the "Z". Really? I have not heard that before.

I just looked at an 03A car that had the "Z" and my 06B car has the "Z" next to the 28. I don't believe I have ever seen a tag missing the "Z" before. Strange.

There are other indicators that show it might be a real Z.

He says that the interior is deluxe when in fact the tag shows standard green vinyl and the pictures clearly show a standard interior so not sure if he knows that much about the car. Someone added some deluxe trim pieces such as the dash bezel and horn shroud. Shift plate should have woodgrain if it was legit.

I think the owner is confusing the "Interior accent group" with the "Custom interior" the custom interior should also have woodgrain inserts on the door panels. I don't know what to say about the lack of a "Z" on the body plate, it looks like it has the correct tack redline for a Z28. I would like to see a pic of the sway bar mounts.

Ive seen a few of those missing the Z in the plate including my 3000 mile car. As for the rust around the plate,I think thats more common than you think. The plate is a different metal so it takes longer for it to rust. I think it real.

If this car is real and is in the condition that the owner has described then why hasn't someone snatched it up for the buy it now price of $10,500??? Sounds like a pretty good deal even without the original motor.

I have some pretty good ideas why it's not selling.

Rick H.

P.S. I would like to see one of those tags without the Z because I have never seen one without it.

Why do you think the reason is it has not sold?

(No I am not selling it or have any connection to it) I just want to learn what to look for ( I used to think I knew alot about these cars...now I am not so sure!!! )
