[ QUOTE ]
I can picture the seller sitting at his computer as the final bid came in. [/ QUOTE ] He was smart to hide the bidders' identities too. Hidden ID's make it easy to drop $6,000+ on an air cleaner and not have to be criticized for it on every musclecar forum. Now the buyer can say, "No, my dual-snorkel isn't the one that sold on eBay for six grand. Can you believe that someone paid that much for one?" |

Two LS-6 Chevelles, Identical, sitting next to each other for sale, one is 7 grand more than the other but it has a real air cleaner assembly on it, which one would you buy?
![]() I would personally find it hard to flip out an extra 7 grand for this one piece. I think some would spring for it though...these are crazy times.
