It's pretty much a given that members from the Chicagoland area will be present. Except for those making impossible deadlines to finish their projects.

Bob:
The Z16 is the #1 prototype (there were two). It is quite a bit different than the production run and should be Top Dog of the Z16s. The Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartwright) Z16, which is a nice, regular production car, sold for $250k at this sale last year. This #1 car was a no sale at Atlantic City (?) in Feb at about $262k. I think it will sell at $300k+. Two other recent Z16 sales I know of are a nearly complete, but apart car needing resto at $103k, and a car without eng or trans needing complete resto at $55k. I'll be there with my orig paint 67 GTO on an Auto-Spin. I decided to consign the Goat at the last minute which puts it about last Sat. night (lot C157). Should be interesting to see if buyers hang around as they do at B-J on Sat night. sYc members are welcome to stop by and sit. I should be right outside the big tent. Dave |
