I can remember out racing almost every Ford or Mopar that challenged and even a 70 Chevelle with a big block( maybe he didn't know how to drive it. I even beat a guy on a souped up motorcycle from a standing start. Ahhhh, those were the good ole days.

Yep. It sure was fun to do those great burnouts with gas that cost 30cents a gallon and the E-70 wide ovals for $20 each. You just had to be sure not to get on it too much if the road was wet because these 4.10 posi's can really get squirrley if you do. I saw a '70 Chevelle get sideways into the grass median when he was trying to race me on a wet section of road. Fortunately, neither he or his car got hurt other than his pride.

Yep, that looks like one of them. They just got no style without the stripes and where would you mount a hood style tachometer on one of those things.
