Don't worry about the times there Alan
We are just having some fun. There were a few Deuces who made some 'light' runs just to stretch their legs a bit and get a photo op. Where else can you see 3 consectutive pairs of deuces drag racing each other down the strip - and a citrus green and orange one to boot ![]() That damn Frankie ![]()

[/ QUOTE ] That's the *exact* reason we spend the bucks and rent the track for ourselves...that way, if guys jsut wanna get a picture of their car at the tree...or if they're new to racing at a track and they wanna go through the procedure at their own pace...or if you're on old track dog with a new combo and would like to make some single passes to sort out the chassis...or if you wanna pair up and run a grudge race...it's all good! If any one has any questions now, or later, feel free to ask! I would be willing to bet anyone you find to bounce the question off of would be more than willing to lend a hand as best as they could... ![]() |

After running street races many years ago I bet the real thing on a track is sooooooooooooo nice, even if you drive it like grandma going to the grocery store

Marlin,
You are right about that. There is nowhere else on the planet where you can see such a show of classic muscle than at the SCR even if some of them are "Citrus green". I know the best are Fathom blue and Gobi beige ![]() Does Frank like to tweak you guys every now and then? It sounds like a lot of fun to me ![]() How many cars are already set for SCR8? Alan |

Even if you bust the car racing there will be a helping hand there to put it back together in a jiffy!

Well, it looks like our plans to come to SCR8 just got sabotaged by our daughter's college tuition. Her university just had a "major"
increase in tuition. So, the money that I had set aside for our trip to SCR8 will have to pay tuition costs. Unless there is a expense fund out there for Dads who have to pay unexpected tuition costs, it looks like we will have to skip SCR8 this year(again ) I hope someone can keep me up to date on things going on for the show. We will genuinely miss coming to our first SCR and getting to meet all of you great fellow gearheads. Alan '70 Deuce (July "05 feature car) |
