Very nice car Alan,and bet she run great. Like the resto
job you placed on her and great to me. I do need your help very badly. I have a 68-SS Nova 396/375hp L-78, black with 734 trim code. I am restoring the car now and have the build sheet. Can't figure out some of the number codes. Do you know anyone that can Help? It's great to hear from everyone. Many thanks for the comments on my car. It took a long time to get it done and I sure got disgusted more than once during the resto.
Pete, as to your question about info on the numbers, I would post a request here on the board for Marlin or anyone who might be able to help. I only have a few references and they are really ones that are specific to the '70 Deuces. Another good source is also a book that is available from the major book sellers like Barnes and Noble, it is called "Chevrolet by the Numbers" and it has almost everything that you can imagine for a part description and the matching GM number.
