That white green combo looks better than it sounds.

This is dated I know, But Shay Nichols lived in Corsicana, Tx in 1970.. I know because I was still in high school and would go over to there house and hang around. I bought the hood off her ZL-1. Her grandfather was owner of Heart-Hanks newspapers and funded her race car..They built a Hemi Challenger after the Camaro. Shay and Phil were really nice people. Never acted like I was a punk kid hanging around..AND Shay was HOT!!

You wouldn't believe some of the big name racers that showed up at thier house. I would go to Green Valley Raceway in Ft Worth and race my '69 Camaro and watch her many times..She kept having a problem of freeze plugs pop out will making a run..

I lost touchwith them after 1970 or so.. I read the car was destroyed..Was it involved in a wreck orwhat?

Thamks,
Danny
