Thanks for waking us purist up. To some , which I include my self in that group... we enjoy learning and dismissing the myths surrounding these muscle cars. Delving into wheel weight and wing nuts isn't for everyone, but for the purist it is enlightening and rewarding.

The car that started this thread is a betweener. The seller provides the trim tag info, but nothing matches ie color , interior, exterior trim. It will take quite a lot to make it technically correct. It seems the owner was trying to strike a balance. For me why not go all the way and make a resto-mod install a powerful new technology engine, modern suspension and build the car the way you want. I am partial to black Z
