I tried getting the car running this weekend.
A couple of kicks, burps & a nice big flame from the pop-off valve.
Well, I guess it's getting fuel, air & spark.
Now i just have to get them in the right order.

Let me go read that TEC3 manual a couple of more times

Make sure you don't have your distributor in 180^ out. I seem to do that every time ...

Mike, you have mail.......I called Joel recently, within the past few weeks, and he no longer verifies his cars nor does he sell the parts. Not sure what is up with that? Maybe the model airplane industry picked up?

That is a BAD BOY HOT ROD you have!!! ..............RatPack.................

Interesting. Joel and I communicate on a regular basis about the hobby and I have not seen any indication he is through certifying Motion cars. In fact, within the last week or so, he and I have discussed a couple of "so called" Motion cars.

As per parts, I know when he was to be involved in the 2002 Motion Camaro project, he had a very limited supply of emblems and some of the other Motion items. At SCR6 he did have us give each participant a pair of original Motion stickers.

Tom, that is strange because a couple of months ago I was contacted about a 69 Baldwin Motion Nova the guy wanted verified and I put him onto Joel. He called me back and said that Joel told him "I am no longer verifying these cars." The owner of the car has documentation to prove it is one but wanted Joel's verification to add to his paperwork. I tried about 2 weeks ago about another car I found and got the same reply, "I am not verifying anymore cars at this time."
Now if you know something that I don't, then fill me in as I would like to help this guy out and get something on the other car also..............RatPack...........

Do not know what to say, because, as I said, he and I have visited about a couple of "so called" Motion cars recently. Maybe Joel is tired of the BS and is only dealing with folks he knows/trusts. Which, after reading some of the "hate" emails he gets, I really cannot blame him.
