Like it or not, Toyota makes one helluva truck! The only problem I ever had with mine was transmission bearings; evidently an issue for the '81 model year. We finally started using tractor hydraulic fluid in the trans and it eliminated the problem. Now, however, the midwest winters have taken their toll. It sits behind my garage with a rusted frame, waiting to become a donor for other 'Vintage Vehicles'. ![]()
