Phil, As you might know....I'm involved with others as one of the Camaros at Carlilse 2nd Gen Judges. There is SO much I do not know about the many options on these Z-28's, SS, R/S with all the different RPO's and COPO's like yours.
I continue to learn, but these web site bulletin boards are a constant source of education, contradictions and controversy....
Chuck

For what it's worth, that is the exact same hand writing on the buildsheet for my LA built stripe delete LS6 Chevelle

Scott S...What dealer was yours delivered to? If it was a Cal Dealer, do you know if it had a carb heat shield? Thanks.

Silver Z guy wouldn't send me any pictures of the pad, swore it was the original engine.
Heard of a one owner '70 Z in Texas and I got the number and called the owner Friday. It was true, he bought it new and it had 48,000 miles. Ran 13.5 @ 105 in '71 with traction bars and headers. Has all the original stuff back on now, this is an automatic and sounds like a very nice car. He is not really ready to sell, but thinking about it.

The silver car on ebay was an original daytona yellow car. Would be interested in that Texas one owner car!!!

My 69 Chevelle is 06D. Can you tell me if the heat shield has part number 3972156 stamped in it? Also, does it say anything on your build sheet about the shield? I have been looking for a shield for a while now.Thanks.
