Dajudge,I knew My Baiting would lure you out!! when people say one thing and do another without letting the other guy know whats up, it makes me wonder just what you are all about. I actually have no Doubts about your car or your Documents on it. It looks great! I just thought that when I met you in person and took time out of my Busy schedule for you, the least you could do is respond to an e-mail or PM. Since you chose not to, I took this avenue to let you know that I do not appreciate your Failure to respond after saying you would. That being Said, the first round of "Cold Water" is on you at the first event we encounter one another at! That will erase any Hard feelings or misunderstandings!! (Real or imagined!!)

No not at all! I was curious as to why he was not responding to me after we had agreed to do so. He is a real good guy, who like the rest of us Caught in Mid life is juggling Kids, Job, wife and then our Passions for Cars. I knew I would draw a response and I did. he contacted me and it is all good. His Car is a top notch example of how a restoration should look upon completion. Chevy,Ford or Mopar, anyone would be happy to have their Beloved auto looking that good and Correct.

I am not a Cyber stalker/keyboard commando type. I do not start "Hoopla" or agress others for pleasure. I am a Man who is true to his word, and expect the same of others when I extend myself. if all goes as planned, I will be at Raceway Park and look forward to seeing some sYc members in person. It is always great to talk in "Real Time", instead of hours or even Days apart!! on these Forum settings, people of all walks of life can chat. Some wish they had Cars, while others have too many Cars. and the rest fall in between. one thing is certain. The amount of Cars or lack thereof, never changes who you really are. it just dictates how you will be spending your weekend. Happy Easter one and all! Unless of course you are a Muslim and find that statement Politicaly/religiously incorrect.

This was a '67 GT350 that Motion set-up for street/strip and in the article it mentions setting up GT500'S----So there could be Some Shelbys that were set-up for street/strip action but you would need some sort of documentation of the extent of the mods done by M/P--

Charley, Kevin Suydam also owns a 427 side oiler and on his web site he says his car is one of 3. Now your car is "the" Super Snake but can you really call it a one off or is it truely one of the 3? Not trying to bust balls just curious on the matter. (when are you going to have your own web site w the collection on it???)

Default Re: One Super Snake, but two other "factory" 427's

If I may, Charley has THE Mel Burns Ford car which was the first of what were to be a number of 427 Medium Riser equipped GT500's offered primarily through that dealer. But (much like Gibb's ZL-1 order two years later) the ultimate final sticker price of $7500 put it into 427 Cobra land, and out of the reach of most potential buyers.

SAAC has Shelby American invoices showing that two other '67's received 427MR's at Shelby (not selling dealerships or sometime later). Kevin S. would appear to have one of those two cars.

Now about those whitewalls, Charley.......

They only built one Super Snake. They supposedly built 3 427 side oiler cars but neither of the others were built as Super Snakes. Mine is a 26K mile car that has been detailed and spot painted over the years but is in pretty good shape. The Super Snake was supposed to be the baddest street car and they were gonna do 50. The three stripes were part of that package. I have not seen any real pics of the other two but neither were done with the three stripes. As for whitewall tires like were on the Super Snake for the Goodyear tire test, does anybody have a nice set of Goodyear Thunderbolts ?
