We live in the "training area" for Luke. The pilots go into afterburner frequently...after they clear our neighborhood.
I don't mind the sound at all...it let's me know that they're keeping themsleves "sharp" for if and when they need to go into battle  I just found it ironic that they closed Arizona Motorsports PArk due to noise, and Luke AFB is <u>right there!</u> And the other dragstrip/motocross park is only 10 miles from there!

I love racing at E-town. It is a great facility. The people are friendly, the track is always in great shape and my car always performs its' best there. Win or lose, I always leave with the intentions of returning soon.
Now the bad....I only have one complaint and that is parking. I don't understand why they allow spectator parking in the pits. I don't know how many times I would make a run, return to my pit only to find some idiot parked their SUV right behind my trailer. Other than that, the place is great!!!
