Okay folks, this is a tough one and I'd really appreciate anyone's suggestions. On my 1969 Yenko Camaro, there is a vacuum hose that leads from the power brake booster unit to the intake manifold and where this hose attaches to the power brake booster unit, there is a rubber grommet. This rubber grommet on my car is leaking like a sieve. You can actually *hear* the vacuum leak. I need to locate a new rubber grommet, but I have come up empty everywhere I have tried. I have tried Chevrolet dealers Parts Departments after-market sources, etc., and no one can come up with this rubber grommet.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or is my 1969 Camaro the only one in the world that has had this rubber grommet deteriorate? lol ![]() ![]() |
