I've found them in the springs under the front bucket seat as well as behind the seat back "shell" of the bucket seat.
(I know your's is a bench, maybe in the springs under the bench seat too)
But I've almost always found them in the springs of the bottom half of the rear seat.

No VIN on the pad and it is to dark to get under the car and look by the oil filter tonight (to make sure that it is a matching numbers engine). The intake has a casting number of 8288752, but I do not know where to look for the date code. I have attached a pic of the intake/carb.

I don't know squat about the monte's. I just think they look better than the chevelle's (alright, all you chevelle guys don't start sendimg me hate PM's!). My mechanic has a 70 monte with a 402, 12 bolt, buckets and a shifter and it is cooool.
Anyways, here is the trim tag info:

ST 70 13857 FL 2199313 BDY
TR 767 25 A PNT
03D

The 03D I get as 4th week in March, but that and the body number and paint is as far as I can tell.

Whoops, just realized you said POP and not TT:
Here is an attached pic of the POP and typed out:

138570F131237 R
V0319CRE CCH0112B 3
VOC18N 1 3 3 ?
A. WILSON 5/28/70
(ADDRESS DELETED BY ME)
COLO. SPG. COLO

So, any ideas guys?

Also, anywhere that I can decode that intake (casting 8288752)

"I just think they look better then the Chevelle's"
THAT"S IT!
I'll help ya decipher Chevrolets version of the econo LA-Z-Boy.

Flint Plant
Code 767 is a Blue Cloth Bench.
Code 25 Astro Blue
Code A is White Vinyl top

Your M/C came with a March 19th CRE L48 350/300HP 4bbl
250HP was a 2 bbl.

The Particulars:
R is a Rochester Carb
CCH is a 2:73 Posi built Jan 12th-Buffalo

"V" is actually the letter "Y" for a Cleveland TH350
O is 1970
C March
18th day
N Night shift

March built car
Options:
Power Steering/Power Brakes/AM Radio
Who was the selling Dealership?

That intake I consider not correct,as it should be a 4bbl.Part#3965577.
I can't find the Intake number you posted for it in any Chevy books here.
The Key Holder is RPO-UIDIOT

I just pulled the back seat out of mine a couple of weeks ago, and it had a perfect one behind the back of the back seat. Also found one on top of the gas tank, although it had seen better days!

RPO=UIDIOT

It even has in bright chrome lettering
"Magnetic Key Case" embossed on the top. I guess that's for the slower theives, leads them right to it.

Not to beat a dead horse, just trying to figure out why the 2bbl air cleaner (all stock appearing, to include the smog tube) had the 350/300 sticker?

Car was sold at:
Williams Chevrolet
230 Academy Blvd
Colorodo Springs, CO
to:
Agnes Williams, the proverbial little old lady!
