Default Re: first post, question about 68 Berger nova

In 1970 there were appx. 10 Berger super novas built. All had 300hp 350s, and extensive exterior frills. Go wing spoiler, super nova script, etc. None, to the best of our knowledge were big blocks. 1 hugger orange car has apparently been found, but she sounds pretty rough. Schonye

I just watched the video that they have on line and it describes the car accurately. It indicates a Berger sold Nova SS that was originally equipped with a 350 and a 4 speed. The man made it quite clear that he was unaware of exactly when the 454 was installed. I would say that would be an accurate representation of the car.

I dont agree ! Im not trying to get anyone upset with me and have no axe to grind with the dealer. Ive been contacted by the dealer to look at the video and please correct the inaccurate statements i have made! Ive looked at the video and they do say it was a 350 car but if you listen very carefully they do imply that the car was SET UP by berger. They also say the only way to get the emblem on the back was to have them SET UP your car! I dont believe thats true. every car sold there had their emblem on it because they sold it. Including 4 door belairs! They talk about yenko and nickey doing conversions and lead you to believe this could be one of those cars. The ORIGINAL OWNER himself says this is not the case with this car. I am sorry if I offended the selling dealer and for the record the car looks great! You guys did a hell of a job bringing the car to a new level and feel the asking price is not out of line but I still believe the ad and video needs to be more accurate. Again Im sorry but I have a right to my opinion.

I agree with you Don.
They are skirting the Edge.
No disrespect to the selling Dealer.
Everyone wave to Ed.
