The Chevado is awesome.. It was actually licensed and street drivin! I've got tons of pics of that thing.

Here is a cool site with lots of info about it and some great pics.

Would any of those pics be ones taken by you or any other than the ones that were in the magazines? We are always trying to find private photos of Chevado.

No, just ones I found on the internet.. I do have some magazine articles of it I remember seeing.. Not sure if they are the same you have on your site or not. Next time I come across one I'll look.

I just got my new Hot Rod magazine and inside is a story on how to build a "match bash" car. They're using a '64 Fairlane and the builder has a website: www.performanceking.com Look under the "historic photos" section for some really great '60s color drag racing photos, mostly of altered wheelbase F/X style cars. Check out the killer '65 Nova in the attached picture!

That's Steve Bovan in the Blairs Speed Shop entry. Blairs built and sponsored a lot of Gassers and A/FX cars on into the early AA/FC cars. They also built the bullet proof axle for our car. Here are a couple more pics.

Hi Bud,
Lets see Chevado comes and goes as needed. Also have a Pro Street '74 Charger Blown 528 Crate motor, C/Gas '55 Chevy, A '63 Vette A/FX I may even drive it someday before I die. Needs a ton of work!A '57 Nomad Will be Chevado II someday, A few old Power Wagons.
I have heard tales about the GT 500 but I have never seen it. Some of these Dairy boys don't even know what they have. A friend just bought a non working Dairy and when he went to clean out the barn he found a '57 Nomad! (Now Mine) and a complete '64 GTO It had been used as a feed trough He kept that one. There is a guy on the Mt. Baker highway that has a barn full of sixties Chevys Bel Airs, Camaros won't sell any. Must be twenty in there. Says he is going to fix them all up He must be in his seventies now he better hurry up
