Bob,

Thanks for posting these well written biographies. Like many of us have heard PaulH say numerous times:

"NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY,"

....Next, we must consider Dick Harrell, ‘THE BUSINESSMAN”, a unique aspect of the man that deserves special recognition....

Some things you are taught, some you are simply born with. When I read the bio of DH, the part above kind of jumped out at me. You see, among Dick's grandchildren is Val's youngest, Michael. I first met Michael at his home in KC, and then got to spend more time getting to know him at SCR3. But, it was a couple of years ago at Etown I got to see the real Michael. He was there with Val hanging out with all of the racers. In addition, Val had brought along several boxes of DH t-shirts. But Val was very busy that weekend, and did not have much time to spend selling t-shirts. Well, guess what, instead of just sitting around, Michael set up shop in the back of the van. It looked like a t-shirt booth at Super Chevy or something. Micheal had a big smile on his face as he visited with folks about his famous grand dad and sold shirts. No doubt Dick was looking down and feeling proud, watching the little businessman at work.

Tom,
What do you mean by this? Do you mean who built and engineered them? DO you mean where are their standing in the Musclecar world? I guess before this can be answered, the context of the question needs to be clarified.
Bill

Bill...your questions don't make sense...especially the one about their standing in the musclecar world...

Bob,
I am sorry, my mistake. When I read this reply, the word MANY was not in this statement, therefore I did not know they were asking about the number of cars. This is how the statement read [ QUOTE ]
Have had a couple opf folks ask me how Harrell cars exist. I do not know, but can say we have had 11 different ones at the SCR, with several of them attending more then once.

[/ QUOTE ] Now that this is there, Without concrete records, there is no way to really know for sure. The service paperwork has been missing for years, so without original owners or original paperwork, no concrete answer can be given.
