The above link is a photo of a L79 I sold on Ebay last year for $35,000. The car was bought new for racing, after a first year engine failure it sat garaged the remainder of it's life until now. 151 original miles. All original black lacquer. The Buy It Now price on the current Ebay L79 may be a bit high in comparison, but with a Lamar Walden powerplant who knows.
