Those are the '70 King Cobra and Spoiler II, both stillborn NASCAR streetcars. They are completely different than the '69s we've been talking about, however. I bet the engines in these cars are 429 CJ and Boss 429.

I have a friend who had a XR7 428 cougar. Bought it from a retired military officer. Beautiful interior. He changed the cam, and put on the police interceptor intake, and that thing just flat flew.

I would love to find a rust free 390 XR7 with a bad engine. I know where a 428 police interceptor engine is that would slide right in.

I beleive The yellow King Cobra was found at Holman and Moody's shop. That car is awesome and I believe they are the only two to exist .

Your right there are only two that exist today the yellow car has a 429SCJ and the other car has a Boss 429.The yellow car was on My Classic Car awhile ago.

what ever happened to the 2 Boss 429 Cougars built? they were both built for drag racing and i have seen a photo of the "Fast Eddie" Schartman car. i have heard they are both destroyed. any truth to that?
