It doesn't look like he ever actually said it was a Yenko unless that was removed from his auction. But regardless, I don't know how you can try and sell something by implying what you think it is and not be willing to give out information like the VIN and cowl tag. It's the same as someone coming to your house and looking at it. So do the potential buyers a favor and list the information you have. Why claim to have documented proof of something and then not show anyone the documentation.

I got the same email as everyone else did the Omar one.
I agree he knows an awful lot about these cars. It seems as though he either has a real car or has been studying real cars but as for the Dana story ... why does the car have Yenko Centercaps and a Yenko emblem on the tail pan and grille if it is a Dana car? IMO a Dana car is probably more valuable but not as well known to the Masses. Ding Ding Ding. Ah ha I think we may have found the answer. But then not as well known will attract the informed buyer ...not a good thing if the car is in fact a clone.

This car reminds me of a white 68 camaro. It was listed on ebay for sale in FL. Was from WI. Seller thought it was from Dana. Or maybe a Yenko. Same car? Earl

No, I didn't eat one too!!
I have some old notes that list a certain Omar Herrara as the owner of a '68 Yenko # YS-8042, and was curious if this car was one and the same. I believe I've spoken to him in the past, but it was many years ago. I'm not sure I understand the secrecy of the VIN# or Trim Tag info, nor the lawsuit threats, it's inappropriate. If you wish to sell an authentic Yenko car, then you have to prove it as such, simple as that! I'm not sure if his VIN is on our published list or not, nor am I sure if the reference of #YS-8042 is correct, it's just some notes I jotted down many years ago. Maybe he can explain this further?
