Steve, very nice car hopefully some day mine might look something like that. I have a set of fenders and trunk lid taken off a Pace car about 30 years ago they are still original paint. Here is a picture of the stripes on the deck lid.

Do my eyes deceive me or are those pintstripes narrower than the white gap? BTW, do you still have the L78 Pace Car that was sold new in my town?

Yes, I still have the L78 pace car. I havent decided what to do with it yet since I have to sell one of my other cars in order to restore it. It is a hard choice and one I have been really thinking about.

I still think you should show that L78 Pacecar as it is,at carshows like Vettefest,Colinsville & such.
It's REAL WORLD rough,not OWNER ABUSED rough.

Here are some pics of a Pace car I looked at a few weeks ago. I know nothing about the car but it looks like the gap is wider than the stripe on it.
