That's an original decal. The dealership is in something of a time warp. They still use the same decals and keyfobs from the 1960s. Here is a postcard from 1964 showing the dealership. It is the exact same today with the exception that it is now surrounding by tall office buildings.

Here's another original photo from early 1970. Very interesting indeed. At the Camaro Nationals in 2004 I was docked 10 points in the 1000 point class for what they considered to be improper widths on the pinstripes that surround the racing stripes. They thought the pinstripe and the gap should be the same width. (You cant argue with judges) After the show I emailed them the original factory blueprints that we used to paint the stripes. These are the schematics in the 1969 assembly manual. They document a different width for the stripe and the gap. The judges said that the original cars they have inspected had the same width. Well, here is my car in 1970 with its original paint and even from 50 feet away you can tell that the gap is wider than the pinstripe. The judging staff is supposedly trying to iron out the issue in time for the 2005 show.

Sorry, that photo was Jan 71. But you get the point. According to the original owner the car was never repainted until 1977. Here is a shot of the original owner picking up his wife and newborn daughter from the hospital in 1972.
