[ QUOTE ]
It's become personal now, so after this public defense of my integrity, I'll keep my remarks off line so as not to disturb the mood and agenda on either of the forum sites involved.-SS

[/ QUOTE ]

This is ludicrous. Steve, why would YOU EVER feel the need to defend your integrity; especially considering the 'attackers'! So typical in today's world that those with the least to say speak the loudest.
We have a section in our local paper called "Open Line". It's more commonly known in the area as the Idiot Vent. Callers can make their opinions known about any topic, and remain anonymous. I can't imagine why any reputable publication would solicit such tripe, but I may have just answered my own question. If I wanted to read this garbage I would subscribe to the rags sold at the check-out at WalMart. Through "Open Line" some of our local public figures are beat up on a regular basis by people too cowardly to step out of the shadows and make themselves known. It's easy to criticize when you can hide behind anonymity. I'm very close to one of the targeted individuals. I try constantly to convince them for every one of the small minded individuals who voice their insignificant little negative opinions, there are a number of quiet supporters who rarely step up and offer a pat on the back for a job well done. I, for one, am trying to learn to offer positive comments when possible, and remain silent the rest of the time; walk the talk if you will.
That said, let me repeat. Mr. Sandlin, you have no call to defend yourself. Those who know you, or know about you, will never question 'Integrity'!

One final comment; Frankie, you're a PUNK!

I just wanted to say congradulations Frank. I just picked up the latest edition of Chevy Rumble today, and what a great write up, and more importantly, what a great looking "authentic" 70 Yenko Deuce.
I will be attending SCR8 this year, and can't wait to see it in person.
As for the other site, the one I shall remain anonymous, those guys are just plain jealous and not supercar/musclecar fans or owners, forget about them. The closest thing to a supercar they will ever own will be a clone.

If anybody is still looking for the June edition of Chevy Rumble, you can find it at Safeway and Hastings.

No Rick your safe. The signs are yours. But apparently in an upcoming issue of Musclecar Enthusiast your car belongs to Soupy Sales.
