Happy Mother's Day Frank...I see on the misfit forum you took 7 whiny little girls out for a lesson in manners. I'm glad to see you using your real name over there too, instead of trying to disguise yourself behind some ficticious alias username with a transparent agenda to deceive. Oh, and just so you know...if you're in the mood to sell that red Deuce, I'll get ya out of it before dark tomorrow for more than McClurg thinks it's worth.

I don't read or post on the rabbit's forum, but a couple of my buddies forwarded me a thread from that site that I find interesting, if not amusing. It's become personal now, so after this public defense of my integrity, I'll keep my remarks off line so as not to disturb the mood and agenda on either of the forum sites involved.

Well I will be, the head detective speaks!!! Hey SS, I would not have to get a new login on your piddly little site if your small minded and paranoid moderators hadn't wanted to hear any dissenting opinions and banned me!! Yeah I am talkin about 454 something or other. Why did he ban me? Was it who I associate with, or could it be that I outed a couple of his buddys obviously faked cars? Or could it be something else? Well only the shadow knows. If any of you people had the chutzpah to hear a dissenting opinion, instead of all those magpies singing, you would not have to ban so many people, and maybe the site would not be losing credibility as it is.
By the way SS, tell the world about your new Dick Harrell car. The Super Chevy magazine says you have a new one. Or could someone be not telling the whole truth on this either?

When, in the span of 4-5 hours one day last week, you use an assumed name to post on the sYc and email me at my personal email address, I naturally become curious about your motives. It was clear to me that your sYc forum post was meant to stir a pot that's already bubbling and the condescending email you sent me only confirmed your malicious intent to cast a calumnious aspersions about my car. Do you know anyone that displays their cars out in the sunshine more than I do? Do you know anyone that has ever witnessed, or even thinks I'm capable of misrepresenting any car in my collection at a show or in a magazine? In the case of the magazine article you refer to, I had 6 cars at the SuperCar Reunion last September...do you think there's any chance the writer inadvertently posted the wrong description under the picture of my RG COPO Camaro? Do you really think that meets the minimum to suggest that I personally misrepresented anything about that car? Stop it, Bill...you're making yourself look silly! As for your comments about fake cars, I think most people would concede that you have quite an imagination, so your opinion about any car's legitimacy probably deserves some skepticism. The sYc forum site has nearly 2,400 members and I only recall 6-7 site users being banned in the last 3 years. If you're on that list, then mathematically you represent less than one half of one percent of the membership. You apparently frequent the sYc forum site, so does that put in question your credibility? What color is the sky on your planet, Bill?

PS: I have a friendly relationship with a few of the folks that frequent and post on the rabbit forum board, so I hope all this nonsense doesn't create more acrimony than already exists. -SS

Do I need to magnifiy this photo to see the DH badges? Seems pretty plain as day to me and I claim to be no expert on Supercars.

Steve,

You're one of the nicest people that I've had the pleasure of emailing and PMing...Frank, you too! One day I'd actually like to meet both of you. As I've said in a few emails to you, I think that it's great that you display all of your cars for everyone to see, and that you share so much information and knowledge with everyone. That means that you are a CREDIT to the musclecar world. Not many collectors buy a huge rog at a cost of a lot of $$$, just so that they can display their cars all over the US...for all of us to enjoy.

I really must have missed something while I was away from the Musclecar hobby. When did people become so spiteful? What ever happened to people commenting on how nice a car someone has, rather than the ludicrous bashing that is going on between these two sites? I was directed to the post about Frank's car on the other site...and I just don't get it!! His car is beautiful!

I've had the pleasure? of emailing and talking to a few of the people who are going off the deep end on the other site...what prompted all of this? They all seemed to be nice people.., probably still are. We all have to understand that emotions get the best of us sometimes, but HELLO...we're adults here...aren't we?

There is NO room in this totally cool hobby of ours for malicious posts...which are generated just to piss people off. If these people on this other site have nothing GOOD to say about someone or their car, why waste the time to say it?

Finally, having a difference of opinion about someone or something is fine...just be civil about it.

I guess I'm the eternal optimist.

Steve and all involved...have a great day...I know that I will!

Steve, The person you are responding to is insignificant in our arena. It appears his sole purpose is to stir the sh!t. He never provides any sustantiated proof, just innuendos. I never met him nor has anyone else on this site. His only role is to perpetuates rumors and skepticism; even when hard facts and documentation is provided. The only thing super he owns is his imagination.

I would disregard any and all of his communications, and not give any press to his feeble attempts to discredit members of this board.

This is ludicrous. Steve, why would YOU EVER feel the need to defend your integrity; especially considering the 'attackers'! So typical in today's world that those with the least to say speak the loudest.
We have a section in our local paper called "Open Line". It's more commonly known in the area as the Idiot Vent. Callers can make their opinions known about any topic, and remain anonymous. I can't imagine why any reputable publication would solicit such tripe, but I may have just answered my own question. If I wanted to read this garbage I would subscribe to the rags sold at the check-out at WalMart. Through "Open Line" some of our local public figures are beat up on a regular basis by people too cowardly to step out of the shadows and make themselves known. It's easy to criticize when you can hide behind anonymity. I'm very close to one of the targeted individuals. I try constantly to convince them for every one of the small minded individuals who voice their insignificant little negative opinions, there are a number of quiet supporters who rarely step up and offer a pat on the back for a job well done. I, for one, am trying to learn to offer positive comments when possible, and remain silent the rest of the time; walk the talk if you will.
That said, let me repeat. Mr. Sandlin, you have no call to defend yourself. Those who know you, or know about you, will never question 'Integrity'!

One final comment; Frankie, you're a PUNK!
