Mike,

There was another post about Yenko's Deuce's running last month when one was up for sale and this same topic came up in the middle of the discussion. Someone asked about the cross member and Marlin replied with:

All Yenko Deuces came with a BB crossmember, and you are right it doesn't make sense. BTW, it's not a Pontiac member either, which looks exactly like the BB one but doesn't have the 1/2" offset. We do not know why they came this way, but they did, and they do not have the BB engine mounts - which makes the trans mount fun to install



It was further noted that it apparently makes them difficult to install as they are out by a 1/2 inch from the crossmember mount with BB mounts.
