Hi gang, a newbie here and a Motion fan. Just curious if anyone has pictures or can point me in the right direction for pictures of a 70 Motion Chevelle. I figured this would be the place to ask. Thanks

Isn't the Green 70 that is in the Ottis Chandler collection book a legit B/M Chevelle? What ever happened to that car anyway?

That green car is indeed a true Phaselll BM chevelle. Further, it is all original with very low miles. The broker who sold this car to Otis Chandler found this car in a residential garage in the NY area. It was subsequently sold when Otis broke up the collection. You can see more photos of the car in Randy Leffingwell's book. Another white 70 BM Chevelle resides in FL. I know of no other 1970 BM Chevelles that still exist today.

Got any pics of that white car in FL? I'd love to see that one.

Last I heard the white car was being restored but sometime in the future I will try to get pics. The individual who owns this car found it on a residential street in NJ and purchased it as a day 2 '70 Chevelle. He then noticed subtle items that suggested it might be a BM car. Joel Rosen was then contacted and confirmed its identity.

Anyone have any idea why Otis Chandler broke up his collection? Did he sell all of the musclecars or did he keep a select few?

From what I remember the collection was not "broken up" so much as they changed focus of their collection. The focus switched to classics rather than muscle:
http://www.chandlerwheels.com/autos/index.html If you want to know where the green Motion Chevelle is I would e-mail or look up the number and give them a call. Where has Kevin Suydam been? I have not seen his name here in a long time. Kevin bought a few of the cars from the collection. I bet he would know who owns the green Chevelle.
