Hah! But it is not the SS that I had for 25+ years, its the other one I 've have for 8 (with 3 years in the body shop!)

Steve, good call on mocking up the window trim before paint. Have seen so many otherwise awesome cars with weird gaps/interferenes between the window trim and body.

Some progress from this week. The full body is in primer. He spent some more time finishing the rear wheel well edges recently, back to their original bad, wrinkly, spot-welded finish. I wasn't too happy with the initial way they looked - they were too perfect.
Now the car has to sit a few days to cure and then more block sanding and then sealing and paint (hopefully, soon). ![]() ![]() ![]() |
