Default Re: Anybody seen these before?

I build trucks for GM, so I know a little about your sticker. GM, and everybody else, launches new models in "buckets" or batches of "builds". Most are what is known as nonsaleable pilot vehicles. The early bucket builds are what they cut their teeth on. These units are not customer quality vehicles. These are used to improve build processes and solve fit problems, etc. The sticker is simply used to identify the nonsaleable pilot build units from saleable units. They don't want to sell a substandard quality unit. However, as the launch date gets closer, the quality of the pilot builds gets much better, and some are chosen to be sold to the public.
