Mr. Norms Grand Spaulding Dodge. 3300 W Grand Ave Chicago, IL Circa January 2003, picture was taken by me. My dads office is right behind where the pic was taken about 2 Blocks on Grand Ave. Building has literally been frozen in time since the days of GS Dodge!

Bob, my dad has a cool story where in 1967 his friend bought a 1964 Malibu SS off there used car lot. The car was Day 2 to the max with a 327, 4 speed, painted a metal flake blue, button tucked interior, Cragers, and glass packs! The kicker was the kid did not know how to drive stick so he brought my dad with him and his mother so my dad could drive the car home. My dad said that he was so fasinated by the used car lot that he never even went into the new car showroom to look at the new cars while he was there!

Ralph, I am sure that you know why the dealer was called GS Dodge. The place was right on the corner of Grand Ave and Spaulding on the North Side of Chicago.
Here is a REAL NOS Mr. Norms trunk decal that I have in my Chi-Town dealer memorabilia collection. They are different than the Mr. Norms Sport Club repops. The real ones are a darker blue printed on 3M reflective sheeting just like the REAL Nickey, Brigance, and other Chi-town area dealer Decals.

Joe when I took those pics it was a Sunday morning in January and probably 10 below 0. There were people that actually came out and approached my father asking what our business was there. They lived in the place across the street called The Victory Church which used to be Mr. Norms parts warehouse. The place is now a half way house for recovering drug addicts. They thought we were sent by the city to close them down.
