How is the plane of the goal line defined? Any part of the stripe, the middle of the stripe or the end zone end of the stripe? I'm guessing it's the first otherwise there's no way the QB's TD could have counted...

Maybe they should have widened the goal posts 2 feet too so Seattle could get the ball through...
  Sorry, but IMO the Steel Curtain still would have prevailed. Seattle had a good team, just not as good as the Steelers... better luck next year.
