If I'm not mistaken, that car was at Carlisle prior to being bought for use in the movie... maybe the movie folks bought it there? I remember it being a pretty nice nova, and also thought to myself that a black Deuce woulda been a good idea.

  They really do make a difference. Between the headers and the flowmaster exhaust, nearly 50hp. Plus it really sounds COOOOOL! Jim
