Re: What a trip !
This evening we went to Mark`s Classic cruise in Granby CT. There were a lot of nice cars there. The nicest one in my opinion, was a black COPO 9561 fourspeed car. It was hard to read but a think the tag said 05C, 10 10 paint and X44. It didn`t have spoilers and I believe the VIN started with N647.
The owner told me he bought the car in 1980. It has been sitting in his garage for many years because of a hole or crack in one cylinder, but it was sleeved and is now as good as new. It still has standard size bore. This car was sold out of Vincenti (I hope it is spelled this way) Chevrolet in Wallingford CT. He has talked to the salesman that sold the car in -69. He told him that Vincenti only got two COPO`s to sell, because they were a "small" dealer. It was this Camaro and a Chevelle.  Anders
