Frank,I was tempted!

sorry guys I was going to snap a few pics, but everytime I was looking at something I realized the camera was down in Denis's car, I do regret not snapping a few...there was a really nice Burnished Brown RS-Z not sure if it was the real deal but it was a sharp car...the cars that I thought were really top notch were a Impala rag 427 car, Denis's Z, a yellow Biscayne 409 car a Black 55 BelAir? that was a reeeally nice resto rod there were plenty more but those really stuck in my mind,I really dug Sues 67 RS/SS Rag...but hey I am a 67 guy at heart.. I tried in vain to sweet talk her out of the keys but it was a no go..

you should have seen the look on her face when we were setting up first thing and I told her I was going to win the raffle for her car that Sam was running on the Internet.. she said "WHAT!" I say yea he is selling tickets for some fun raiser and the winner gets the keys to her car to take it for a ride....I had a hard time keeping a straight face as she was starting to get worked up,LOL...

met some new people and hopefully some new friends.. great show great people, LV we missed you and having your rides to drool over.

Bill I was up at your a car a few times checking it out and looking for ya but kept on missing you, I mentioned to Sam that was wanting to talk with you and he said you were headed out, I looked up where you were parked and there was hole where you were, nice car!

catch ya later,Bud.

That's pretty feeble, Bud. I was counting on ya! Hope to see you guys there next year. It was one of the best organized shows I attended last year, and I suspect that Sam and crew had it humming like a sewing machine again, this year. But you guys have got to do better with the camera detail. Last year we had HawaiianJeff taking pics of anything/everything, but you guys suck!

um sorry

On a positive note I had my 7yr old in tow and he did pretty darn well, I kept thinking he was going to start saying lets get out of here, but a couple hot wheels from a vendor and a raffle ticket that won a "Bonus hot wheel" worked pretty well, we stole the Dually and headed out around 1:30.

Bud.

Hey Steve we were having too much fun for pictures!! Bud's son did appear to be having a good time, Bud had him learning his knots trying to un-tie himself from Sue's bumper! (No that did not work either)

Well I sure missed not making it to Seattle for the WCC show this year but a good friend came through with a consolation prize and he and I spent the day at the Monterey Historic's. To our dissapointment the only Camaro we saw was a 4th gen in CHP trim. Never did find out why the Trans-Am cars were not racing. It was a fun day dispite the lack of the coolest of the historic race cars.

No pic's from the North West... but I'm glad to hear ya have been having fun... Hey Steve, here are some pic's from the Historic's....

I think this is a '38 Auburn, check the Viper mill under the hood. Does this rate being called a pro-touring car?

More Pic's Here

Thanks Bud. Yeah, I headed out after lunch and took the long way home since it was such a nice day. BTW, one of the PNWCC guys, John ____ , was taking photos of the cars with his very nice digital camera and he took many pix of my car. I'm assuming he's going to post some of them on the PNWCC website shortly? I hope they don't take too long to post the event pix...
