Where were you when i practically gave the one i had away...
I had 2 deadbeat bidders on it before it finally sold for what i thought was dirt cheap... I would think that color is probabaly one of the hardest to find, in ANY condition. Good luck.

You might want to consider any standard wheel as long as its' in good condition and paint it light green.
Most of the wheels were molded in black and then painted to match the required interior color. I've restored a number of wheels over the years with good results. Be sure to use a quality two-part epoxy paint and prep the wheel properly. Rattle-can spray bombs don't work and will only rub off in a short time.

NONE of the 69-70 standard wheels were painted originally. They were all molded in a specific color...red. blue, dark green, light green, tan, etc. etc. Not saying you couldn't paint one green, but they were originally molded in that color, not black underneath. The same goes for the shrouds and buttons.

Joe is correct about the standard wheel and I wanted to add that all the comfort grip/deluxe wheels were done in the same way. Plus if you want to get technical so were the turn signal and tilt wheel knobs. Heres to you Joe

Yes I agree with Camaro Joe and L-35, the specific # for a light green standard wheel is #3939734. I could go the repop black standard wheel and have it dyed or painted, but that is the last resort............Thanks for your input...Joel

JBB. I have a bunch of 69 Light green stuff left over from a car I did a interior change on probably 15 years ago. I thought I had a wheel but can't find it. I do have seat belts, arm rests, sunvisors etc. Stuff is grungy but if you need it you are welcome to it.
