Advanced preview of '70 cars

------Ive been around for awhile as have many of us and owned a number of 70 SS Chevelles, but this is the first time I have ever heard of two designs of trunk stripes. To add a little bit more; How could you spot the difference from that shot? Id really appreciate when the break was and if it was at the same time at all the different Chevelle manufacturing plants. Mr70(Rick)--picked up on the stripes--maybe he has a better photo---This stuff was a pre-release preview of what supposedly the car would look like--Be patient, I'm sure Rick will save us from our sandy graves later on. ---Joe

If I am not mistaking the early Chevelles stripes were thiner than the later ones not sure about the cut off but would guess middle of December. We will see what Rick says

I could be be wromg on the date but I think the early cars the stripes were 1 inch thinner noticeably different. I think all stripe kits sold today are the wider ones
