THANKS FOR THE INFO,THE CAR IN THE PICTURE IS A 69 DAYTONA YELLOW Z28 THAT WAS ON BY JOHN ALBERT OF AVON OHIO.THE NAME ON THE DOOR WAS "WAILER II". HIS SON AND MYSELF ARE PUTTING TOGETHER A REPLICA OF THIS CAR TO RUN IN IHRA CRATE MOTOR STOCK ELIM. THE CAR WILL HAVE A 502 CI 502 HP CRATE MOTOR/TURBO 350 TRANS.I WILL POST PICTURES OF THE CAR AS IT IS BEING COMPLETED.

No doubt...being an original Z, you could go with one of those fast burn crate engines that seem to do well in the class. Keep the SBC flavor!
