This Nova was the same car from the Monroe shock ads circa 1975, not the Thrush ads. The only difference is it had an L-88 hood in the Monroe shock ad. The car was owned by an employee of B&M (the company the tranny article was about). Last year I talked with the guy who is quoted in the article, Tony (he now restores old B-25 airplanes) who was the manager of B&M at the time. The car was just a built up street machine, not a dealer car. Whereabouts of the car today is unkwown. Car had Ansen traction bars, Cragar slots up front.
Some of the giveaway characteristics of the car from the Monroe ad VS the Tech article, besides the flares are the later style 72-73 Nova bucket seats, Ansen traction bars, side mirrors were painted black, Cragar mags up front-they had a weird shape to them as you can see in the pics.
