Default Re: '78 'Macho' Camaro Z28 ??

Thanks for the input guys, I have since found out these cars were made by DKM (Dennis and Kyle Mecham). They made around 200 each year from '78 - '80 in the Trans Ams, but only one Z28 in '78 and then 100 in '79.

I have found the No. 1 prototype, the very same car that was featured in September 1978 Hot Rod Magazine.

It's a white car with Red stripes, roll bar, rear battery, functional air intake, hooker headers, straight pipes (catalytic converters only).

It has 95,000 original miles and is in unrestored excellent condition. Original paint, no rust.

Can anyone tell me the approximate value of this car, how sought after it might be, and how many of the Macho Z's exist?

Thanks in advance for the information
Greg.
